I am crazy about natural skin care and organic stuff. I remember was reading this book on herbs and Ayurveda and came a cross a sentence which said
“don not put anything on your skin which you cannot eat!”
hmmm, well we all know it’s not possible in today’s world with so many things we use on daily basis.
We can’t put stop to one or the other, from toothpaste to shampoos to soaps, everything has paraben and some sort of chemicals in them. Now a day’s lots of companies are coming out with paraben free skincare haircare and other things, which makes me really happy!
We don’t have to fully follow those ancient rules! The least we can do is switch to the products, which has less chemicals and parabens widely available now.
That said, my todays post reflects beauty and skincare tips driven from all natural ingredients if you are a Asian some of them will be rightly available within your kitchen pantry. So lets begin J
NEED AN INSTANT BRIGHTNING FACIAL?Apply a paste of yogurt and turmeric with some drops of lemon in it. Keep it for 20 to 30 minutes and wash off! There you go, you are all bright again!
ARE YOUR LIPS FLAKY DRY AND PIGMENTED? Grind 3 to 4 almonds and mix with butter as much to make a paste and rub it on lips leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes and gently remove with a gritty side of wash cloth in a circular motion. This will exfoliate the dead layer on your lips, which, was causing flakiness, and almonds will add brightening effect.
DIDN’T GET ENOUGH SLEEP? TIRED WITH UNDER EYE BAGS?You thought I would tell you the tea bag remedy? Well yeah it does work! But I have come across this one am sure you haven’t heard of ;)
When you go to bed dab a little unrefined (organic) Almond oil and close your eyes gently massage in circular way as though you are washing your eyes or taking of your makeup, you don’t have to do this for 10 minutes! It takes only 2 minutes and yes; it’s a great makeup remover too!
TIRED OF ACNE AND ACNE MARKS?Cut the tomato in half and rub on your face until you are left with skin or at least less than what you started off with. Do this consecutively for 5 to 10 days. You will not only get rid of acne but acne marks too! Tomatoes have natural vitamin c, also known as ascorbic acid, which is really beneficial in treating acne and brightening skin texture. It also has lycopene, which is said to work wonders for acne prone skin. Really try it!
